Love You, Love You Not

Work created for an editorial illustration assignment, based on an article/interwiew on the topic of aromanticism. I wanted to play with traditionally romantic symbolism - a red rose, for love, and an aromantic person playing the iconic "he loves me, he loves me not" game. In this case, however, it's not about who loves this person: it's about who she loves - non romantically, and her love for herself.
